Çukurova Airport will become one of the largest in all of Turkey. Initially, it was conceived and designed to ease the work of Istanbul's airports, making it a strategically important object for both the region and the whole of Turkey. Also, its opening will be a trigger for an increase in property prices, because now you can fly to Mersin from anywhere in the world.
