The launch of the first flight to Mersin Airport was a success. The Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance, along with Nureddin Nebati, MPs Ali Cumhur Taşkin, Zeynep Gül Yılmaz, and Hacı Özkan, and Ak Party Chairman Adem Aldemir, announced, "Today we observed the first test flights at Çukurova Regional Airport (Mersin).
Çukurova Regional Airport will be operational in June for both domestic and international flights."
