The launch of ferries between the Turkish Trabzon and Russian Sochi is planned for May 1 after a nine-year break, said on Saturday the head of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Trabzon province Erkut Celebi.
"We plan to sign agreements on April 6 to launch ferry traffic. On the Sochi-Trabzon line, a ferry for 300 people will be operated. It will be able to carry (also - ed.) 200 cars, six buses, 12 containers. Flights will start on May 1, the gates to Russia will be open", - quotes Chelebi the newspaper Yeni Akit.
